“ EXCELLENT STAFF AND CARE FOR THE DISHES Ristorante Pizzeria da Mary is located in the hamlet of Nodica, in the municipality of Vecchiano, in the Province of Pisa. The restaurant, in addition to its traditional dining areas, also offers outdoor seating for the warmer months. I went there for dinner a few days ago with some colleagues, and we were all very satisfied with the evening. It's a traditional, very welcoming place, with particular attention to the quality of the food. I personally tried the Quattro Stagioni pizza, and my colleagues tried the Margherita pizza, the crusty pizza, the ham and mushroom pizza, and others. However, I saw excellent meat and fish dishes at the nearby tables, as well as particularly thoughtful desserts. While waiting for our orders, we were served excellent fried pasta dishes. A special mention goes to the wait staff, who were particularly welcoming and always had a smile on their faces when dealing with customers. Overall moderate prices. ”

“ Needing to eat after work, while looking for a restaurant with an affordable menu, I came across Ristorante Mary. It has ample parking, plenty of tables, and is clean. It's hard to rate the dishes for a budget menu, so I'll just base it on my experience. The meal costs €15, including a first course, second course, wine or water, and coffee! I've seen cheaper budget menus elsewhere, but don't look a gift horse in the mouth! The first course was spaghetti alla pescatora, with plenty of well-made, plump mussels. If I had to criticize it, it was perhaps a little too salty, but good. For the second course, tripe parmigiana, which was also not bad—perhaps not the freshest, if I were to be picky, but nice and juicy. I also had a classic coffee and, in my case, water. What can I say? The price was reasonable for dishes that aren't normally cheap; they'd be around €8 per course, so the price is fair. Of course, for a business lunch, you'd expect lower prices, but also simpler dishes! So the experience was limited, but while I was waiting, I saw delicious fried food and other inviting-looking first courses being passed around from table to table! That said, I've had better elsewhere, but for €15 for a first experience, I think it's fair—worth a second lunch with the à la carte menu! The service, entrusted to a young woman, was relatively quick; she was very good at dealing with a crowd of noisy groups, so the slight delay wasn't her fault! They also make pizza in the evening! It's hard to assign stars; there were too few samples. It doesn't seem like a gourmet restaurant, but rather an honestly run restaurant with well-cooked dishes! ”
